Technical Sales Representative – Beauty Care (Algeria)

About the role

Brenntag is expanding its Beauty & Care business in Algeria and seeks a Technical Sales Representative to promote its ingredient portfolio to local manufacturers. You will act as the primary contact for customers, combining scientific knowledge with commercial acumen to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in home care, cosmetics and personal care sectors.
• Promote Beauty Care ingredients and solutions to local manufacturers.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead prospecting activities.
• Provide technical support to customers, including formulation guidance and ingredient selection.
• Manage the full sales cycle: negotiations, quotations, and closing.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Scientific degree (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy).
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or technico‑commercial roles.
• Strong knowledge of the Algerian market for detergents, cosmetics, dermo‑cosmetics and hygiene products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy and results‑driven mindset.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
