Accountant – Finance Team (Algiers)

About the role

Welltec is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join its Finance team in Algiers. The role will be based in the current Hydra office (relocating to Zeralda in 2026) and will report to the Finance Manager for Africa. A two‑week training period in Angola is part of the onboarding process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices and statements.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, reconcile receivable ledger and resolve billing issues.
• Support external audit activities and maintain accurate month‑end records.
• Administer payroll, handle labour‑related administration and liaise with external employment law advisors.
• Ensure legal compliance by following up on tenders, managing translations and contracts.
• Perform general office management and other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Highly motivated accountant ready to work in a multicultural environment.
• Will report to the Finance Manager, Africa and collaborate with a finance team of eight employees across several countries.
• Willingness to complete a two‑week training period in Angola.
• Based in Algiers (Hydra) with future relocation to Zeralda.
