About the role

The Reservation Agent will handle all reservation inquiries, changes and cancellations for our hotel in Oran. Working closely with guests via phone, fax or email, you will ensure accurate booking information and deliver excellent service that reflects the Marriott brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers.
• Enter reservation data accurately into the property’s reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale bookings.
• Document special requests, answer questions about hotel facilities and services, and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Escalate guest concerns according to established procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• No prior reservation experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using reservation software to input and retrieve booking data.
