AI‑Native QA Engineer (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an AI‑native QA Engineer to join Storyteller’s remote team. You will use AI coding agents to explore our iOS and Android SDKs, design automated tests, and ensure the quality of SDK behaviour and its integration with Storyteller services.

Key responsibilities

• Use AI coding agents and related tools to explore SDK codebases and accelerate quality work.
• Identify high‑value quality improvements based on product, technical, integration and release risk.
• Design, build and maintain unit and component tests for SDK behaviour.
• Design, build and maintain integration tests covering SDK interaction with Storyteller services and APIs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI and release workflows with clear, actionable failures.
• Investigate bugs using code, logs, APIs, test results and product behaviour.
• Collaborate with builders to improve testability and prevent recurring defects.
• Turn repeated investigation or testing work into reusable AI‑driven workflows, tools, checks or test assets.

Required profile

• Hands‑on QA engineer comfortable working independently.
• Experience testing SDKs on iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Ability to translate investigation findings into reusable AI‑enhanced tools.
