Backend Developer (NestJS) – On-site in Algiers

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team in Algiers. The role focuses on building a modern, scalable digital platform using NestJS and TypeScript, serving a large user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Contribute to a modular monolithic architecture for scalability and maintainability.
• Build modules for authentication, user management, content/catalog, access rights, subscriptions, billing, and notifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Work with PostgreSQL for data storage and Redis for caching and performance.
• Integrate external services and third‑party APIs, including operator and payment services such as OTP, Flexy, and SATIM.
• Ensure backend security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with web and mobile developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Professional experience with NestJS and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with Redis.
• Strong understanding of REST API design.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / JWT and implementing authentication/authorization systems.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and services.
• Good understanding of backend security and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
