Cash Manager – Francophone Africa

About the role

The Cash Manager for Francophone Africa is responsible for cash performance and working‑capital optimisation across GE Healthcare’s imaging, ultrasound, PCS and service portfolio in Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Francophone Sub‑Saharan Africa. Reporting to senior leadership, the role drives cash‑flow improvement through operational execution, process simplification and rigorous KPI management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, forecast and track key cash metrics (collections, overdue receivables, disputes, billing, unbilled receivables) and ensure timely reporting.
• Own quarterly closings, develop reliable working‑capital forecasts and communicate variances to senior management.
• Lead a team of ~10 cash collectors, set objectives, coach performance and ensure target achievement.
• Drive dispute resolution and customer engagement with operational teams, establishing KPIs and capability‑building programmes.
• Conduct weekly operating reviews, design mitigation plans for past‑due and BDR challenges, and coordinate with regional stakeholders.
• Manage the On‑Book program, ensuring accurate tracking of reimbursements and data integrity.
• Partner with distributors to maintain balance accuracy, timely reconciliations and improve billing quality.
• Collaborate with banking partners and HFS teams to ensure compliant transaction processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent engineering qualification).
• More than 10 years of experience in cash management, working‑capital optimisation or finance within a multinational environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing a cash‑collection team.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with KPI‑driven performance improvement.
• Fluency in French and English.
