About the role
The Dock Supervisor is responsible for organising, coordinating and controlling all activities on the quay, ensuring that loading and unloading operations are performed safely, on time and in accordance with quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and supervise the daily work of the dock team.
- Oversee loading and unloading operations of products.
- Verify product conformity and condition during handling.
- Manage and control shipping and receiving documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse/Stock, Logistics and Transport departments.
- Handle anomalies and incidents promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules and internal procedures.
- Monitor quay performance and productivity metrics.
Required profile
- 1 to 2 years of experience in dock, loading or unloading operations.
- Licence (Bac + 3) or equivalent professional training.
- Familiarity with safety, quality and HSE standards.
- Ability to collaborate with production, warehouse, logistics and transport teams.
