Chef de Quart Production – Beni Tamou (Blida)

About the role

The company Kamelo Food, a biscuit manufacturer, is looking for a Production Shift Supervisor to lead the production line at its Beni Tamou site in Blida. The role involves overseeing the entire shift, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift.
• Lead, motivate and manage the production team to achieve daily output goals.
• Ensure adherence to the production schedule and quality objectives.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene, safety and quality procedures.
• Track performance metrics, report deviations and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and HSE departments.
• Handle shift hand‑over, ensuring clear communication of instructions.
• Complete production reports and related documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in food engineering, industrial engineering, production or a related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in the agri‑food sector, preferably in an industrial production environment.
• Experience in biscuit manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing production teams.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and food‑industry hygiene standards.
• Leadership, rigor, quick decision‑making and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage unexpected situations and emergencies.
