Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager will lead contract negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance throughout the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) phase for Grid Solutions. This role ensures rigorous deal making, operational excellence, and alignment with customer critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redline, and negotiate customer terms, conditions, NDAs, consortium agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Identify, register, and manage commercial risks using the Risk Assessment Matrix and Salesforce tools.
• Lead contractual scheme development and coordinate with Tax, Legal, Finance, Controllers, Operations, and EHS stakeholders.
• Own the Commercial Operations (ComOps) risk process, ensuring adherence to policies, metrics, and governance.
• Support ITO teams with KPI monitoring, risk/opportunity analysis, and mitigation strategy development.
• Partner with regional sales teams to create winning proposals and meet order and financial targets.
• Drive change‑management initiatives to reduce cycle times, lower costs, and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, sales, risk mitigation, tendering or project management.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
