About the role
BAT is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead financial performance, strategic planning and reporting for its market operations. The role sits on the Leadership Team and works closely with the EM leadership and Finance community to drive profitability and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning cycles.
- Identify value‑creation opportunities, efficiency improvements and working‑capital optimisation.
- Oversee monthly management reporting, group submissions and statutory financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations.
- Maintain ledger integrity and ensure SAP data accuracy and account reconciliations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, risk‑management frameworks and compliance with group policies and tax legislation.
- Manage the statutory audit process and ensure high‑quality audit outcomes.
- Ensure liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting, treasury operations and inter‑company funding arrangements.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four finance professionals, fostering a high‑performance and ethical culture.
Required profile
- Proven experience in corporate finance, financial reporting and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory requirements and group reporting standards.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage treasury functions, cash forecasting and liquidity.
- Experience leading finance teams and collaborating with cross‑functional senior leaders.
