Customer Marketing Manager TAL

About the role

Syngenta is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager for the TAL region (Tunisia, Algeria and Libya), based in Algiers. The role leads the design and implementation of growth initiatives and marketing campaigns, from development through to execution, defining the offer, target groups and messages to meet annual sales and market share objectives. It covers a $36m portfolio and reports to the Marketing & Business Sustainability Head, NWA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run marketing campaigns that address customer target groups with differentiated offers and clear messaging.
• Lead growth initiatives derived from the 5-year plan, coordinating Portfolio Leads, Sales, CPD and Regulatory teams.
• Analyze customer pain points and desires to adapt approaches and build effective crop campaigns.
• Own the content of Grower Program Offers (GPOs) so they meet grower needs and give competitive advantage.
• Monitor campaign progress against KPIs such as market share gain, CTG profiling and the effectiveness of pull activities.
• Work with Sales teams on P&L strategy and with distributors and retailers on brand launches.
• Collaborate with Digital Innovation and communications teams on events and customer digital flows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Agronomy or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of marketing or sales management experience in the agrichemical industry.
• Deep knowledge of the North African business environment (Tunisia, Algeria, Libya).
• Proven track record managing complex projects, influencing stakeholders and leading change.

Required skills

• Strong grasp of marketing mix, segmentation, business strategy and financial analysis.
• Deep understanding of crop agronomy (cycles, resistance management, application technologies).
• Familiarity with CRM and internal systems such as Salesforce.com and AnaPlan (I-Plan).
