Data Scientist – KYC Risk Modelling

About the role
Triodos Bank is looking for a Data Scientist specialized in KYC risk modelling to strengthen its Data & Analytics department. You will work on the technical side of Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) and Financial Crime (FC) risk models, ensuring they are robust, transparent and well‑managed across all branches.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain risk models and analytical solutions with a focus on data quality and reproducibility.
- Own and enhance the model management lifecycle, including development, implementation, documentation, monitoring, validation support and periodic review.
- Translate risk requirements into technical specifications, data pipelines and model designs.
- Collaborate with KYC & FC risk experts to align solutions with regulatory expectations and business needs.
- Contribute to a consistent model governance framework across all Triodos Bank locations.
- Implement machine‑learning techniques to accelerate business processes.
- Promote best practices in version control, testing, model performance monitoring and explainability.
- Support D&A and Risk teams with ad‑hoc analyses and insights.
Required profile
- Motivated by purpose and impact, with a strong sense of integrity in finance, KYC and data.
- Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Experience in a regulated environment, preferably financial services.
