About the role

We are seeking a Director of Development and Strategy to lead the growth agenda of our multi‑sector group, operating in automotive, construction, agri‑food and other industries. The successful candidate will shape and execute strategic plans that drive national and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the group’s development strategy across its various business sectors.
• Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships and market entry prospects both locally and abroad.
• Develop strategic development plans in close collaboration with senior management.
• Oversee market research, competitive intelligence and investment opportunity analysis.
• Represent the group at business meetings, trade fairs and strategic negotiations.
• Coordinate with operational functions such as Marketing, Sales and Finance to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Bac+5 or higher) in management, corporate strategy, international trade or a related field.
• Proven experience (6+ years, preferably 10+ years) in a similar senior strategic role, ideally within a multi‑sector organization.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in Arabic, French and English.
