About the role

The company seeks a senior leader to head its automotive production and assembly unit in Algiers. The role involves overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supply chain and logistical flows for the production unit.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and industrial performance metrics.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle homologation standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, or electromechanical) – Bac+5.
• Preferably complemented by an MBA or Master in Management.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in the automotive or two‑wheel industry, including at least 5 years in production unit management.
• Fluent French and professional English for international supplier interaction.

Required skills

• Manufacturing methods and continuous improvement techniques.
• Mechanical assembly and welding processes.
• ERP systems (SAP), MES, and production scheduling tools (GPAO).
• Supply chain management and logistics flow optimization.
• Knowledge of vehicle homologation standards.
• Industrial budgeting and financial control.
