District Promotion Manager – Sales Leader

About the role

As a District Promotion Manager at Amgen, you will lead a team of Biopharmaceutical Representatives within the Oran district, translating national brand strategies into actionable local plans. You will be accountable for achieving sales, promotional and business objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own district performance and drive execution against agreed sales, promotional and business targets.
• Translate national commercial and brand strategies into clear district priorities, action plans and execution standards.
• Leverage business analytics, market dynamics, customer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure disciplined execution, optimal resource allocation and regular follow‑up of district KPIs.
• Support product launches, strategic initiatives and key business priorities within the district.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Biopharmaceutical Representatives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions and key stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other cross‑functional teams to ensure aligned and integrated execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a field sales team in the biopharma or pharmaceutical sector.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans and deliver results.
• Strong coaching and people‑development skills with a focus on performance management.
• Excellent understanding of the healthcare environment and customer needs in the assigned district.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence internal stakeholders.
