Electrical Engineer – Facility & Discipline Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Facility & Discipline Engineering team in Qatar. The role focuses on supporting oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, and heavy industrial operations through advanced electrical system design, troubleshooting, and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Management of Change (MOC) feasibility studies up to Gate 2.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) electrical systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, OEM, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong expertise in HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCC), UPS, generators, VFD/VSD, protection systems, and power management.
• Experience with MOC processes, engineering assurance, plant troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
• Knowledge of ETAP/SKM, hazardous area classification, arc‑flash analysis, and relevant electrical standards is highly preferred.
