English Second Language Teacher

About the role

Halo English Institute is seeking a part‑time English Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join its Dély Brahim campus. You will deliver engaging English lessons to children, adolescents, adults and professionals, adapting content to a wide range of ages and proficiency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic English lessons for diverse learner groups.
• Create and adapt teaching materials that match curriculum objectives.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments and informal observation.
• Guide learners in exam preparation, particularly for IELTS.
• Foster a supportive and motivating classroom environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching English as a second language.
• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies, lesson planning and adaptable content delivery.
• Familiarity with international English exams such as IELTS.
• Relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) preferred.
• Degree in English, linguistics, education or a related field is a plus.
