Environmental Health & Safety Professional – Services & Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional to join our Project Operations team within a leading oilfield services company. The role supports the delivery of safe and compliant services on client sites, ensuring that all HSE requirements are met and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert on HSE topics, including emergency preparedness, safety risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• Implement and maintain the BH HSE management system on client sites, aligning with client procedures and local legal requirements.
• Develop, review and update job safety analyses for activities within the BH scope.
• Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) for BH and subcontractor personnel.
• Ensure Lock‑Out Tag‑Out (LOTO) procedures are applied before any BH activity starts.
• Plan and track equipment certification, notifying when recertification is required.
• Maintain and log all safety documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to review site safety requirements, certifications and training.
• Lead HSE toolbox talks, investigations, root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report key HSE metrics such as injury rates, STOP‑work incidents and environmental KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in oil and gas.
• Advanced communication skills in French, Arabic and English.
• Strong investigative and training abilities.
