About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Press and Media Relations Expert to join the EU‑funded visibility project in Morocco. The role will support the European Union’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and stakeholder engagement efforts across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write and distribute press releases, briefs and media kits in French, Arabic and English.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international journalists, broadcasters and opinion leaders.
• Coordinate media outreach campaigns, press conferences and events to raise EU visibility.
• Monitor media coverage, analyse sentiment and produce regular reports for project partners.
• Collaborate with the project team to design and implement strategic communication plans.
• Support crisis communication and issue‑based advocacy when needed.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum BAC+4) in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, Political Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in press relations, media outreach or institutional communication.
• Fluency in French; strong command of Arabic (including Moroccan Darija) and English is an asset.
• Proven experience working on EU‑funded or international development projects is preferred.
