Finance Analyst

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Established Pharmaceuticals Division, supporting operations in Algeria, Tunisia or Morocco. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, budgeting and cash‑flow management to ensure accurate reporting and effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed SG&A analysis, maintain monthly trackers and compare actuals against plan.
• Monitor vendor payments, ensure timely settlements and manage receivables with distributors.
• Assist the FP&A manager with weekly sales flash reporting, month‑end close, and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, track cash‑flow results and evaluate scenario comparisons.
• Support budgeting processes, ensuring P&L and cash‑flow budgets are entered and approved in the system.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and obtain necessary deviations when market conditions require.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong command of English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
