Finance and Business Support Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Finance and Business Support Manager to lead the financial operations of Holiday Inn Algiers – Cheraga Towers. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will guide the finance team, ensure compliance with IHG standards and local regulations, and provide strategic financial insight to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
• Maintain high‑standard accounting practices and robust financial controls in line with IHG and Algerian regulations.
• Analyse financial data, market trends and budgeting forecasts to maximise performance.
• Support the General Manager and senior leadership with accurate financial reports, business analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor hotel profitability, identify improvement opportunities and oversee accounts payable, purchasing, payroll and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and IHG policy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4‑8 years of hotel finance experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of hotel budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, purchasing and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and business‑orientation skills.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
