Founding Software Engineer – Build Scalable AI Platform

About the role

The Flex is building Base360.ai, an operating system for modern renting. As a Founding Software Engineer you will help design and scale the core platform that powers bookings, pricing, payments and guest experiences across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, services and APIs for the Core Platform.
• Build internal products, automation engines and AI‑powered workflows that eliminate manual work.
• Create event‑driven workflows and integrations with partners such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI and Google.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS for reliability and global growth.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, from idea through deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to design scalable backend services and event‑driven automation.
