Fragrance Compounding Specialist (Perfumer)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fragrance Compounding Specialist to join our team and lead the development, formulation, and quality control of premium perfume and fragrance products. The role involves creating olfactory profiles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting scale‑up production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and compound fragrance formulations based on product briefs and market needs.
• Select, evaluate, and blend raw fragrance materials to achieve target scents.
• Conduct stability testing and quality‑control assessments of fragrance batches.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, batch documentation, and laboratory logs.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS), IFRA certificates, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and product specifications.
• Ensure all formulations comply with IFRA standards and international regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers on raw‑material specifications and compliance.
• Support production teams during scale‑up and manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in perfume formulation, fragrance compounding, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials and their olfactory properties.
• Experience with blending techniques, stability testing, and quality‑control procedures.
• Proven ability to prepare and manage regulatory documentation (SDS, IFRA, COA).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a laboratory team.
