Freelance Compensation Benchmarking Consultant (Algeria)

About the role

People & Partners Group is seeking experienced freelance consultants to lead salary survey and compensation benchmarking projects for leading organizations operating in Algeria. This project forms the first phase of a continent‑wide benchmarking exercise across multiple African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse compensation data for strategic roles in sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and operations.
• Develop salary benchmarks and compensation structures for client organisations with revenues from $25 million to over $250 million.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations that align with global headquarters standards.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Managing Director to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Support the expansion of the benchmarking programme to additional African countries as the engagement grows.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering salary surveys, job evaluations and compensation structuring across multiple industries in Africa.
• Specialist background in compensation and benefits, not general HR consulting.
• Ability to work independently on a project‑based freelance basis.
• Relevant in‑country compensation experience for Algeria.
