Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager will support the daily operations of the front office at Le Méridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre. This role oversees the Bell/Door staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk teams to ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and high guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Manager in supervising all front office areas, including Bell staff, switchboard operators, and front desk agents.
• Ensure efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures and resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Manage staffing levels, schedule shifts, and maintain service standards in line with financial targets.
• Communicate business objectives to the team, recognize performance, and provide coaching.
• Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Front Office or Assistant Front Office Manager, performing necessary duties.
• Monitor departmental performance and contribute to achieving overall property financial goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related hospitality role; OR
• Associate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
