General Assistant – Food Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional General Assistant to join our food service team in Andover. You will work alongside the head chef to deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the head chef with food preparation and serve food and beverages to guests.
• Address guest requests promptly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations and a safe, inclusive workplace.
• Follow health, safety and food‑service regulations at the location.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for food and customer service.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to challenges.
• Previous experience in a similar food‑service role is preferred.
