Hardware Field Service Engineer - Central Region, Algeria

About the role

Siemens Healthineers Oncology Services Algeria is looking for a skilled and collaborative Hardware Field Service Engineer to join its team in the Central Region of Algeria. The Field Service Representative is the main contact for customer service and repair needs of Siemens Healthineers Oncology services Medical Systems, working in a defined field service territory and representing the company. The role covers troubleshooting, repair, installation, upgrade and preventative maintenance of the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair designated equipment within the assigned territory, including preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades.
• Manage time and schedule, prioritizing incoming customer calls and following through to completion.
• Escalate incidents when needed and request help from more experienced representatives.
• Resolve difficult customer issues and meet established FSR performance levels.
• Maintain territory management and expense control, including timely field service and expense reports and consignment documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships through written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of field service experience in a similar technical role.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Completed mandatory military service or holds a valid military service exemption certificate.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and technical skills, including electronic/electro-mechanical test equipment and PC-based systems.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, debugging and basic imaging/accelerator systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
