Hardware Field Service Engineer - Oncology Medical Equipment

About the role

Siemens Healthineers Oncology Services Algeria is looking for a skilled and collaborative Hardware Field Service Engineer, preferably based in the Djelfa or Laghouat region. The Field Service Representative is the main contact for customer service and repair needs of Siemens Healthineers Oncology medical systems, working in a defined field service territory and representing the company.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair designated oncology medical equipment, including preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades, following company guidelines.
• Manage time and schedule, prioritizing incoming customer calls and completing work to completion.
• Escalate incidents when needed and handle difficult customer issues to meet established FSR performance levels.
• Maintain territory management and expense control, including timely field service and expense reports and consignment documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of field service experience in a similar technical role.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Military service completed and a valid driving licence.
• Preferably based in the Djelfa or Laghouat region.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and technical skills, including electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment and PC-based systems.
• Tools such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters and torque wrenches for verification, checkout and calibration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic understanding of imaging systems.
