Head of Business Banking

About the role

We are a leading ethical bank focused on impact investing and are looking for a strategic leader to own and grow our Business Banking portfolio across Europe. The role will shape how we serve SMEs, social enterprises and high‑impact larger businesses, balancing commercial performance with societal impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Business Banking growth in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.
• Lead multiple agile product teams, setting vision, priorities and conditions for autonomous delivery.
• Develop and deliver lending solutions, digital banking journeys and sector‑specific financing for renewable energy, circular economy and social enterprises.
• Drive digitalisation of business banking processes, simplifying account management, lending applications and financial planning.
• Own shared P&L responsibility, managing product performance, cost‑to‑serve and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in business banking or related financial services.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to make commercial decisions that generate positive societal impact.
• Experience managing cross‑functional agile teams and delivering digital banking products.
• Track record of owning P&L and driving profitable growth.
