Hematology Medical Science Liaison

About the role

GSK is looking for a Hematology Medical Science Liaison to act as a field-based scientific expert in Algeria. The role builds peer-to-peer relationships with key oncology thought leaders to enable non-promotional scientific exchange, support clinical trials, gather medical insights and spread the medical strategy. The position is based in Turkey with a hybrid model and regular office presence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, multidisciplinary teams and hematology centres focused on multiple myeloma and myelofibrosis.
• Deliver high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange on clinical trial data, disease biology and treatment paradigms.
• Support site identification, feasibility and recruitment for clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies.
• Support advisory boards, investigator meetings and congress activities (preparation and follow-up).
• Capture, document and escalate medical insights and competitive intelligence using GSK CRM/insight tools.
• Provide scientific support to commercial teams within compliance boundaries.
• Identify opportunities for evidence generation and investigator engagement, coordinating with the Medical Manager/Medical Affairs.
• Report safety events immediately to pharmacovigilance.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine (MD).
• Medical Science Liaison experience in hematology, 2-3+ years.
• Prior hematology (multiple myeloma) experience or 3-5+ years as an MSL preferred.
• Clinical or industry experience in hematology or closely related areas.
• Previous experience engaging healthcare professionals in a scientific role.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical ethics, governance and compliance.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Scientific Liaison or similar field medical role.
• Direct involvement with clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies or site identification.
• Familiarity with the Algerian healthcare system and hematology patient pathways.
• Presentation skills and experience running scientific meetings or workshops.
• Ability to turn complex data into clear clinical messages.
• Collaborative experience across medical, commercial and clinical operations teams.
