HR Business Partner – HR Operations & Compliance

About the role

Swissport Algeria is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead HR Operations and ensure compliance with Algerian labour legislation. You will act as the operational backbone of the HR function, guaranteeing accurate employee administration, payroll coordination, and HR system integrity throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all HR operational activities, including contract management, onboarding/offboarding, and maintenance of employee records.
• Maintain the accuracy and quality of HR master data across HRIS platforms and produce dashboards and KPI reports.
• Supervise payroll preparation, validate personnel movements, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Manage employment contracts, probation periods, renewals, terminations, and coordinate labour inspections and audits.
• Ensure adherence to local labour law and Swissport HR policies, supporting internal and external audits.
• Supervise relationships with CNAS and other social authorities, guaranteeing timely statutory submissions.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or aviation environment.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian labour legislation and social security regulations.
• Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate with HR Business Partners across talent and employee experience.
