HR Officer – Airport Retail

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented HR Officer to manage core HR administrative functions for our airport retail operations in Algiers. The role involves payroll processing, contract administration, CNAS coordination and leave management, ensuring full compliance with Algerian labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll accurately, submit social security contributions and resolve related issues.
• Handle CNAS registrations, declarations and follow‑ups for all employees.
• Draft, update and manage employment contracts in line with local labour law.
• Maintain personnel files, HR records and employee‑related documentation, including work permits.
• Organise induction programmes and monitor probation periods, collecting feedback and communicating outcomes.
• Track annual, sick and other leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for HR‑related administrative queries and support audits and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably in an airport or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian labour law, CNAS procedures and social security regulations.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Required skills

• Payroll processing with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage contracts, leave systems and employee records confidentially.
