ICT Program Director

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a senior ICT Program Director to lead the delivery of 5G and 4G Core and Cloud solutions for its customers. You will operate in a fast‑paced, multi‑vendor environment, driving complex engagements from initial scoping through to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sophisticated 5G, 4G Core and Cloud engagements from scoping to delivery for Ericsson customers.
• Lead local and global teams to meet timelines, enhance profitability and continuously improve processes.
• Identify milestones, mitigate risks, resolve issues and manage change impacts on scope, budget and schedule.
• Build strong internal and external relationships and promote a collaborative “one team” atmosphere.
• Harvest best practices, create knowledge assets and industrialize delivery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of program management experience, including Core and Cloud delivery.
• Proven ability to support sales teams and drive new business opportunities.
• Strong financial acumen, business case development and risk‑management skills.
• Demonstrated accountability, customer‑focused mindset and ability to coach team members.

Required skills

• 5G, 4G Core and Cloud solutions.
• Physical, virtualized and containerized Network Function projects.
• Test and deployment automation.
• Project control, financial case development and risk management.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
• Experience with Packet Core components such as Dual Mode Core, PCC/PCG, MME, EPG, SAPC, UDM, IMS VoLTE, IoT.
• Automation and collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.
