About the role

University College Roosevelt is seeking a temporary replacement Instructor in Medical and Health Psychology. The role involves teaching and engaging students within the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme, covering both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and practical sessions in medical and health psychology.
• Develop course materials and contribute to curriculum design.
• Assess student assignments, provide feedback and support academic progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty members on research and teaching initiatives.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification in Psychology, preferably with a focus on medical or health psychology.
• Proven teaching experience at the higher‑education level.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary academic environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to fostering student learning and development.
