Lead Estimator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Estimator to drive cost estimation and tender preparation for large‑scale industrial, agricultural and infrastructure projects in Adrar, Algeria. The role will support the delivery of complex developments by providing accurate cost analysis and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation and tender preparation activities
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost analyses
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identify risks and opportunities within tender submissions
• Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams throughout the bidding process

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 + years experience in estimation and tendering
• Experience on industrial, infrastructure, commercial or large‑scale construction projects
• Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Strong knowledge of quantity take‑offs, cost planning and market pricing analysis
• Understanding of local suppliers, subcontractors and construction practices
