Lead Services Specialist – On‑Site Services

About the role

The Lead Services Specialist will provide on‑site service solutions for critical rotating‑machinery assets, focusing on protection, monitoring and diagnostics. The role includes installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining Bently Nevada hardware and software, as well as delivering training after certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support for Bently Nevada equipment and customer rotating machinery.
• Perform installations, commissioning and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software at customer sites.
• Diagnose machinery issues using vibration, process, performance data and maintenance records.
• Prepare timely service reports with findings and recommendations.
• Install permanent and temporary transducers, including shaft, casing, optical and laser‑based devices.
• Operate MDS data acquisition instruments (ADRE408, Scout, System 1®) to collect and extract data plots.
• Evaluate vibration data quality, quantify severity according to API/ISO standards.
• Conduct field‑balancing, impact testing, operating deflection shape and basic modal analysis.
• Collect data for torsional analysis and ensure compliance with BH HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate engineer (BSc or MSc) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in machinery diagnostics field services.
• Certified Vibration Analyst Level 2 or higher (preferred).
• Eligible to work in the specified country.
