Legal Data Analyst

About the role

The Legal Data Analyst will turn complex legal information—such as contracts, litigation outcomes, and regulatory filings—into actionable insights that support compliance, risk management, and business strategy. Working remotely, you will collaborate with legal, compliance, and technology teams to build data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large legal datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain training data, prompts, and evaluation criteria for large language models (LLMs) used in legal workflows.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Automate legal processes and optimize the deployment of legal technology, including AI‑based solutions.
• Support regulatory compliance by mapping external regulatory data to internal models and validating content.
• Assist in establishing data‑governance practices for legal data assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal analysis, legal operations, compliance analytics, or data analysis within a legal environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate legal concepts into quantitative models.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for querying large datasets.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM workflows and legal technology platforms.
