Local Quality Executive – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

The Local Quality Executive will support quality activities across GSK’s Algerian sites, ensuring the Quality Management System remains strong, compliant, and continuously improving. Working closely with operations, supply partners, and the LOC Quality Manager, you will help drive GSK’s mission to deliver high‑quality medicines and vaccines to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and monitor LOC quality objectives and the quality improvement plan.
• Track, trend, and report quality KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance the local Quality Management System to meet GSK standards, GMP, and local regulations.
• Support in‑market batch transfers and related activities.
• Investigate deviations, complaints, and audit findings; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
• Perform self‑inspections and vendor assessments for third‑party contractors and service providers.
• Assess quality impact of planned changes and manage change‑control activities.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or regulated operations within the life‑sciences/pharmaceutical sector.
• Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Experience with investigations, CAPA processes, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience working with third‑party contractors, suppliers, or distribution operations.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Algeria with occasional regional travel.
