Manifest Process Administrator

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Manifest Process Administrator to manage manifest operations across Algerian ports. You will ensure smooth customs processes, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination between internal teams and external authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate shipping manifests and customs documentation for Algerian ports.
• Manage amendments and ensure compliance with local customs regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customs and port authorities.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to deliver best‑in‑class service.
• Support the Manifest Manager with operational challenges and improvement initiatives.
• Produce ad‑hoc analysis and reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in manifest management and customs processes.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong organisational, planning and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinker with a problem‑solving approach.
• Comfortable working independently within a matrix organisation.
• Adaptable, resilient and solution‑oriented.
