Mechanic Technician II

About the role

Halliurton is hiring a Mechanic Technician II in Hassi Messaoud, Algeria, within its Support Services product service line (Maintenance PSL). The technician works under general supervision, performing preventive and predictive maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, and mentors others as directed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment assigned to a location, with intermediate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Carry out advanced function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Interpret mechanical schematics, drawings and prints, and identify parts and search systems to procure spare parts accurately.
• Maintain accurate data in Halliburton's system of record and follow detailed work processes in the Halliburton Management System (HMS).
• Ensure duties are performed safely, efficiently and effectively; errors have clear consequences.
• Perform own work and mentor others as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in related mechanical fields.
• A technical school certificate is preferred.

Required skills

• Intermediate diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical schematics, drawings and prints.
• Part identification and system search for spare parts.
