Media Buy Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Media Buy Manager to lead realme’s media strategy and execution in Algeria. The role combines digital performance buying, offline OOH planning and agency coordination to maximise brand impact for product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and product‑launch media plans across digital and traditional channels, allocating budgets to balance brand awareness and conversion goals.
• Manage digital campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and YouTube, handling audience segmentation, ad‑format selection and daily performance optimisation.
• Oversee offline media buying including billboards and transit media, conduct site inspections and negotiate contracts with local vendors.
• Lead local media agencies and maintain direct relationships with media owners to secure premium placements and competitive pricing.
• Track delivery, produce post‑campaign reports and provide data‑driven insights for future optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in media planning, buying or digital marketing, preferably within the mobile or consumer electronics sector.
• Willingness to work full‑time in Algeria and deep understanding of the local media landscape and advertising regulations.
• Native Chinese speaker with professional English proficiency for internal reporting and collaboration with headquarters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager.
• Strong audience‑targeting and segmentation capabilities.
• Experience in A/B testing, performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPC) optimisation and data analysis.
• Vendor management and commercial negotiation skills.
