O&M Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The O&M Sourcing Specialist will act as the local owner of sourcing activities for the Naama, Boutlelis and Mostaganem sites. Reporting to the O&M Engineering Manager with a dotted‑line to the O&M Sourcing Leader, the role is based in Oran and includes occasional travel to the head office in Algiers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements (SOWs) into commodity strategies in collaboration with sourcing teams.
• Lead execution of the O&M sourcing strategy at the three sites, driving supplier selection, development and consolidation.
• Support ERP Oracle and PowerMax data entry, review and improve related processes.
• Lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives and system implementations to enhance efficiency.
• Deploy supply‑chain optimisation projects such as localisation and BCC.
• Manage weekly operating rhythms, KPI reviews and coordination with SQE teams.
• Own end‑to‑end procurement processes, from purchase order creation to closure, ensuring savings, usage, cash and preferred‑supplier targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, delivery and cost expectations.
• Maintain supplier relationships and organise EHS seminars aligned with GE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high‑school diploma) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of sourcing or supply‑chain experience in power generation, power‑plant construction or oil & gas.
• Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Algeria.
