About the role

Medline Industries is seeking an Operator I to join its production floor. In this position you will run converting, packaging, and automated boxing equipment to produce high‑quality wipe products while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging machinery, including film and label loading, to create complete wipe packages.
• Control automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support tasks as needed.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, adjust machine settings, and document product attributes on required forms.
• Identify machine failures, make minor corrections, and involve maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring process parameters and making adjustments within specifications.
• Serve as backup for other positions and complete additional projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or at least two years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand charts, indicators, control instructions, and operator checklists in English.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.
