Part-Time Deskside Technician – Algiers

About the role

The Deskside Technician provides on‑site IT support to end users in Algiers, handling hardware and software issues according to service level agreements. This part‑time position requires visiting client locations, troubleshooting problems quickly, and collaborating with the Service Desk and other support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client‑specific IT support and resolve incidents in priority order.
• Visit customer sites to diagnose and fix PC, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Coordinate with the Service Desk and other teams to meet contract deliverables.
• Track incidents accurately using the ITSM ticketing system.
• Install, upgrade, move, and de‑install hardware and software components.
• Implement virus detection, eradication procedures, and basic network troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and the local language.
• 2–3 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
