Part-Time IT Technician – Deskside Support (Algiers)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Deskside IT Technician to provide on‑site support to end‑users in Algiers. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client‑specific IT support to end‑users, prioritising incidents according to SLA.
• Visit customer locations and support multiple facilities as required.
• Collaborate with the Service Desk and other support teams to meet contract deliverables.
• Track incidents accurately using the ITSM ticketing system.
• Install, upgrade, move and de‑install hardware and software components.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and the local language.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Self‑motivated, efficient and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• PC hardware and software troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets).
• Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating system support.
• Basic network troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office (latest suite).
• Symantec Endpoint Protection.
• ITSM ticket management tools (preferred).
• Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
• Virus detection and eradication procedures.
