Piping Engineer for Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

CPECC Algeria seeks an experienced Piping Engineer to support oil and gas construction projects in southern Algeria. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review piping design documents, line lists, isometrics, P&IDs, plot plans and material specifications.
• Check piping layout, routing and supports, and coordinate stress analysis with the stress engineer.
• Review vendor and fabrication drawings for compliance with project specifications and international codes (ASME B31.3, API).
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, erection and installation on site.
• Follow up piping inspection, hydro‑testing and pre‑commissioning activities.
• Respond to site technical queries and propose engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation disciplines and subcontractors.
• Apply project HSE rules and quality procedures and report progress to the Engineering Manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent engineering qualification (Bac +5).
• 6 to 10 years of experience in piping engineering for oil and gas projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Piping design and drafting (isometrics, P&IDs, plot plans).
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and API codes.
• Stress analysis coordination.
• Inspection, hydro‑testing and pre‑commissioning procedures.
• Use of vendor and fabrication drawing review tools.
