Product Application Engineer – Drives

About the role

The Product Application Engineer – Drives will support Schneider Electric’s field sales and channel partners by providing technical expertise on Variable Speed Drives (VSD). You will act as a bridge between customers, sales teams, and product development, ensuring successful VSD solutions and trainings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist field sales, channel managers and partners to close VSD deals with end‑users.
• Specify Schneider VSD products in customer specifications and convert competitor specs to Schneider solutions.
• Respond to Help‑Desk requests for technical solutions, product availability and configuration.
• Deliver advanced VSD training workshops and develop application notes.
• Report success stories to product marketing and prepare quotations for VSD solutions.

Required profile

• BAC+5 in electrotechnics, electronics or a related engineering degree (B.Sc. Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Relevant experience designing or validating applications on Schneider Electric platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Schneider product range, especially VSDs.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Analytical, creative and customer‑service oriented mindset.
