Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Manager

About the role

The Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Manager will represent ECCBC Algeria at the senior level, overseeing external relations, corporate communication and the implementation of the group’s sustainability agenda across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local sustainability strategy, focusing on recycling, water stewardship and community empowerment.
• Monitor industry trends and media coverage, producing regular communication reports to track brand perception against competitors.
• Identify, engage and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as community representatives, NGOs, public interest groups and governmental institutions.
• Coordinate corporate communication initiatives with the Coca‑Cola Group and ensure consistent messaging to media and stakeholders.
• Lead social and community activities that reinforce ECCBC’s reputation and license to operate.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business, communications or a related field (Bac+5).
• 6 to 10 years of professional experience in public affairs, communications, sustainability or a similar discipline.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with diverse external partners.
• Strong analytical skills to track trends, measure impact and report on sustainability performance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
