Quality Engineer – QMS Implementation & Continuous Improvement

About the role

The Quality Engineer will implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across project activities, ensuring that all quality issues are recorded, analysed and resolved through effective corrective and preventive actions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on quality cases, non‑conformities and corrective actions.
• Ensure project activities comply with company standards, customer requirements and international standards such as ISO 9001.
• Participate in quality audits and support the preparation of inspection and test reports.
• Track supplier and subcontractor quality performance and drive corrective measures.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring or critical issues using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D and FMEA.
• Analyse quality KPIs (defect rates, NCR closure time, supplier performance) to identify trends and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to manage quality concerns, ensuring timely communication, proper documentation and resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality within engineering, EPC or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, preferably ISO 9001.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Required skills

• Application of quality tools and methodologies (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Statistical and analytical techniques for quality data analysis.
• Document control and audit preparation.
