Receiving Attendant

About the role

The Receiving Attendant is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments at the Trust Complex Buildings in Algiers. This full‑time position ensures accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise while maintaining a secure and organized receiving area.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, matching invoices with receiving reports.
• Stage merchandise by department, label items, and deliver them to the appropriate locations.
• Verify inventory quantities, track received items, and complete inventory logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving documentation to ensure count accuracy.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages and mail, securing the receiving room and its contents.
• Follow hazardous‑material shipping regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with guests regarding package receipt, obtain signatures, and report any loss or damage.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working in narrow, elevated, or uneven spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read small print.
